Dragobrat is the Ukraine’s highest ski resort, with a base elevation at 1400 m. It is located near Yasynia village (Rakhiv district, Zakarpatia region), between the rivers Chorna Tysa and Kosivska near Stig mountain. In the South there is the Svydovets mountain range. From here a wonderful view on Hoverla opens. It is surrounded by the conifer forests and unique Carpathian nature that preserved its original view. You can get to the resort from the Ivano-Frankivsk airport or railway station to Yasynia village, and then only by a terrain vehicle. The locals provide the transportation services.
The mountains are placed in a horse-shoe form that ensure steady snow cover for a long period, till May.
Dragobrat is a conservation area of Svydovets preserved mountain mass that is a part of the Carpathian biosphere reserve. The ski resort is located on the North-East part.

The ski resort has the skiing runs of different complexity degree. There are green skiing runs for the beginners and the black ones for the professionals, 20 runs in total. There is the rental of skiing equipment, snowboards, storage rooms. The specialists will help you to choose the best option. The skiing school works on the territory, where the beginners learn the basic techniques, and the professionals can polish their skills. The trainers teach both skiing and freeride, carving.
The skiing runs extend up to 10 km, their length is from 300m to 2 km. You can extend the length in additional one kilometer by getting higher by ratrack. The bar lifts and chair lifts are available, as well as multilifts. There are freestyle tracks available. But the tracks have no lighting in the evening.
Dragobrat waterfall is one of the most attractive places – it is situated on the Kysva river and its height is 70 m. In summer you can have a ride on a mountain bike, go on a hike around the picturesque surroundings or take an excursion around the famous places. It is recommended to visit Kuziy nature reserve on the South of the Svydovets mountain range. On the hillslope of Blyznytsi mountain, the Ivor lake is situated. Its water is crystal and brackish. And from the mountain top, you may see the flourishing edelweisses.
There are 24 cozy hotels in Dragobrat and in the surroundings to settle everyone interested. The private apartments or cottages are also available for the guests. Usually the tourists prefer wooden houses to utterly absorb the local charm.
The local cafes and restaurants will provide you with the national cuisine – “Hata magnata”, “Marika”, “Smerichka”. You can buy the hot mulled wine or hot tea near the lifts.
There is a pool in Dragobrat with the medicinal spring water.
Sauna will make you feel after skiing like new. The gambling hall, karaoke, snooker, movie theatre, night club, table tennis and other entertainments will help you to spend a good time.
